In true Trader Joe’s fashion, you go in for a specific list and you leave with much more! The seasonal items get me every time and the placement of these are not coincidental. These people know exactly what they are doing! I was checking out and saw this little tin of lemon cookies and I was immediately sucked in. I love everything lemon. The chocolate version of these cookies that I grew up sticking in hot chocolate are comparable. These are thinner and the lemon center make these feel extremely light and quenches that afternoon sweet tooth without feeling like I’d polish off the whole container. The lemon center is tart and sweet but the crispy exterior doesn’t have too much flavor so it balances out. These would be great garnished in a vanilla milkshake or scoop of ice-cream or simply eaten as is. My boys liked them but I really like them! Will definitely grab another one when I go to Trader Joe’s next!
