Taste Test Tuesday: Crispy Peanut Butter filled Milk Chocolate Peanuts (Trader Joe’s)

The Taste Test Tuesday reel that was never seen! There was an Instagram glitch trying to upload it last week and it vanished instead of living in my drafts. I couldn’t bring myself to film another one because I was hopeful it would somehow reappear, to which it has not! First world problems I know! Anyhow, these little peanuts were so good! Very similar to that of a Reese’s but in an adorable peanut shape. The ratio of chocolate to peanut butter was perfect! There was just a light crunch in the peanut butter filling, which was fine but maybe could be a little more so, given the name! It was sweet and melted nice when devouring. Just one or two of these would totally quench my sweet hankerings.

Out of pure curiosity, I froze one to try! Typically all of my chocolate treats go straight for the freezer so this felt like the most natural thing to do. I will advise against that. The filling was crumbly and dry and the mouthfeel wasn’t as pleasant as when it was in it’s room temp state. Live and learn! I would definitely buy these again!
