In full transparency, I am not a “fit” person. I may look okay in my clothes but I’m not comfortable exposing what really lies beneath the flowy tops, you know what I mean?! Every so often I feel motivated to start some sort of fitness activity but it typically weans by the time I start researching. I was one of the lucky ones and breastfeeding helped me lose my baby weight, although my body is still different than it once was! While I was nursing I would eat whatever, whenever, and there wasn’t much fluctuation to my weight.

I lost 20 lbs before my wedding and walking was my only exercise! I'd walk anywhere from 30-60 minutes about 4 times a week. It's amazing how many calories you can burn by just walking. And you don't even have to walk fast! Increasing your pace will obviously increase your heart rate, but as far as calories burned, you burn more when you walk further, not faster. Keep it up, sister!
