Taste Test Tuesday: Chewy Molasses Cookie (recipe tweaked from @loveandlemons)

The inspiration was from a delicious ginger forward molasses cookie from @fonville.press that we had multiple times this past weekend!

Will make again but bump up the amount of ginger and spices.

✨Chocolate Honey Ice Cream✨ I’ve been makin

✨Chocolate Honey Ice Cream✨

I’ve been making this every few days because my family loves it! We top it with peanut butter, mini chocolate chips, crumbled brownie or just on its own! It’s so good! I prefer to use less sweetener but you can up the honey to 1/2 cup for a sweeter version.

Ingredients:
•3 egg yolks
•1/3 cup raw honey
•1/2 cup cocoa powder
•1/2 tsp vanilla powder or vanilla bean paste
•pinch of salt
•1 1/2 cups heavy cream
•1 1/2 cups milk (I use 2% but whole would be better)

Directions:
•Break up the egg yolks with a whisk in a mixing bowl.
•Add in the honey, cocoa powder, vanilla and salt. •Whisk to combine to ensure there are no lumps. It will take a second for it to come together but keep going until smooth.
•Pour in the heavy cream and milk and whisk until everything is combined.
•Pour into frozen ice cream base and let it go for 20-24 minutes or until soft serve consistency.
•Scoop into freezer-safe containers and freeze for at least 2 hours.

It’s a great not-too-sweet but satisfies that chocolate craving type of treat. You can mix in your favorite toppings or enjoy all on its own.

Taste Test Tuesday: no bake pumpkin cinnamon roll bites from @samcfit_

You guys, I was so excited to try these! It was an absolute disaster making them. 😵‍💫 I had to add way more flour than the recipe called for. I refrigerated the dough and even froze it in attempt to get it to roll. The recipe just did not come out for me. The flavor was great and I would make a variation of these as protein balls but this cinnamon roll situation was a big flop!

If you try them, let me know if you have a better outcome with the recipe! 🤞🏻

There was a time not long ago that I only wore dar

There was a time not long ago that I only wore dark colored leggings out of the house. I was so self conscious that the other colors would show…everything! All the imperfections of my legs would be more noticeable than if I just wore black. But guess what, nobody cares! In fact, I guarantee you come off more relatable if people can see the flaws. Moral of the story; wear the colorful leggings!

Also, this is my fall/winter uniform and you’ll be seeing me in a color combo of it from now until spring. 🫶
